Welcome

As a former Living History interpreter, and a current Library Science grad student, I am all about learning new things and sharing that information with others. I created this website to show different interests and projects I have discovered through doing (and making all the mistakes!). I also have quotes I like that seem to fit the moment, poetry that speaks to me, and I’ll even occasionally put in book and website recommendations. Hope you enjoy looking through here, and maybe you can find something interesting that speaks to you!

Quotes

February 2021

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom and yet deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters.

Frederick Douglass, 1857

What reinforcement we may gain from hope; If not, what resolution from despair.

John Milton, Paradise Lost, bk 7
